When should I book my wedding ? 

ASAP: We do book up fast so it's important for you to secure your date at least 6-9 months prior to your wedding date. We do require a signed contract and a non-refundable 30% retainer to secure our services.

Now that my wedding date is reserved, when do I schedule my trial?

2-3 months prior to your wedding date. We understand the excitement to get in right away. 

Take your time to look thru photos/images of hair and/or makeup looks. Pinterest and Instagram are just a couple of resources that provide a wide variety. 

 

Why is a consultation important? 

The consultation is an opportunity for the bride and artist to discuss skin prep, collaborate makeup/ hair ideas, veil placement and hair accessories. Most importantly, post consultation communication allows to make any needed adjustments to tailor the perfect look on your wedding day.

 

Is there a service minimum for on location services?

Yes, either of the following:

-Bride & 3 attendees Hair or Makeup (within 30 miles)

- Bride & 4 attendees Hair & Makeup ( outside of 30 miles)

How long will the makeup & hair take? 

We will discuss the start time at your consultation appointment .

Bride : 1 1/2 - 2 hours (hair & makeup)

Bridesmaids : 1 - 1 1/2 hours ( depending on length/style)

Laura Dutra's Glam Team takes careful consideration to coordinate times with your photographer, ceremony and travel to venue.    

 

Can someone do "eyes" only or " light makeup" ?

We do not offer partial services, they are considered and billed as one full service.

How much for flower girl?

Children under 12 years of age :

$30 for curling

 $60 for updos, braids or half up

Do they bring their own products?

We bring the salon to you! All of our artists have complete comprehensive kits.

Can I have my artist stay for touch ups?

Yes, artists are available for touch-ups at a $50 hourly rate. 

Request must be made at Trial Run appointment.

Is there a travel fee?

Travel exceeding the first complementary 30 miles (Round Trip) is $75.00.

Travel exceeding 100 miles is $120.00  

Travel exceeding 200 miles may require accommodations.

Method of payment / Gratuity?

 Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Cash, Venmo, Zelle or Check (restrictions apply)

Gratuity is greatly appreciated and can be given directly to the artist.
